Must know
  • End Shift is available whether you’re clocked in or on a break — ending from a break closes both the break and the shift.
  • There’s no self-service undo in the portal. Once you clock out, a manager has to fix an entry for you.
When you’re done for the day, select End Shift on the Time Clock card (or from the header clock popover). Your open segment is closed at that moment, your state returns to Clocked Out, and the timer stops. You can end a shift from either state:
1

Ending from work

If you’re Clocked In, End Shift closes your current work segment and clocks you out.
2

Ending from a break

If you’re On Break, End Shift is still there — it closes the break and ends the shift in one step, so you don’t have to end the break first.
After you clock out, the day’s segments are recorded on your timesheet and roll up into your pay-period totals. There’s no way to reopen or delete a closed entry yourself, so if something looks wrong — the wrong work type, or a clock-out at the wrong time — ask a manager to correct it. Managers can edit time entries after the fact.
