Must know
  • Start class only becomes available once at least one athlete is marked present (or late).
  • Starting a class opens the evaluation view; you end the class yourself with the End class on submit toggle when you submit evaluations.
  • A completed class can be Restarted — that keeps the original start time, clears the completion, and reopens the class so you can keep evaluating.
1

Take attendance first

Mark who’s here on the Attendance roster. Until at least one athlete is present or late, Start class stays disabled and a reminder tells you why.
2

Start the class

Tap Start class. The session opens the evaluation view, and the status pill turns green to In session for you and any co-coaches.
3

End the class

When you’re done, head to the submit screen. Leave the End class on submit toggle on and submit — the session is marked Completed. That toggle is only available once every present athlete is selected; if a few are still being scored, other coaches can keep going and someone ends the class on the final submit. If everyone ended up absent or excused with no one left to evaluate, use the End class button instead.
4

Restart if you need to

On a completed class, tap Restart class to re-open it. This keeps the original start time and clears the completed status. A class that was actually started lands you back in evaluation to fix a mark or keep scoring; a class that was auto-completed without ever being started drops back to the Attendance roster instead.
Scoring athletes during the class is covered separately in the evaluations guide. Related: How do I take attendance for a class? · How do I score athletes during a class? · What happens if I forget to end a class?
