Must know
  • Paid time today adds up ended segments on paid work types and paid breaks. Unpaid work types and unpaid breaks are left out.
  • A segment that’s still running shows In progress and isn’t counted until it ends.
  • Paid time today isn’t rounded, so it can differ slightly from your timesheet if your club rounds time.
Where to find it. Open Time Clock and scroll to the Today card. On a phone, tap More in the bottom bar, then Time Clock. The card appears once your clock status has loaded. It refreshes after every clock action and about once a minute on its own. What counts as today. Only segments that started today, in your club’s time-tracking timezone, are listed. A segment that began before midnight (club time) isn’t shown, and its minutes aren’t in Paid time today. What each row shows.
  • Work type - what you clocked into.
  • Type - a Work or Break badge.
  • Paid - a Paid or Unpaid badge for that segment.
  • Start and End - times in the club’s timezone. A running segment shows In progress instead of an end time.
  • Duration - the length of an ended segment, such as 1h 35m. A running segment shows a hyphen (-) until it ends.
Rows are listed earliest first. With nothing logged yet, the card reads “No activity recorded today.” When a segment ends. A segment ends when you:
  • end your shift,
  • switch work type more than 3 minutes after it started,
  • take a break (this ends your work segment), or
  • end a break (this ends your break segment).
A segment also ends by itself if it runs past its work type’s maximum length: at the next refresh it ends at that limit and counts toward your total. Switching work type within the first 3 minutes changes the running segment in place, so no new row appears. Rare case. A row showing Untyped and a hyphen under Paid has no work type. It counts as paid time. For a whole pay period, use the Pay period card higher up the page.
