Must know
  • Fixed date. A late report card always carries the class’s date. You can’t change it.
  • Remove repeats. Every athlete marked Present or Late is added, even ones already scored. Remove anyone who already has a report card for this class, or they get a second one.
  • Not published yet. Saving clears the class from Needs evaluation. Families still don’t see it until it is published, unless its template publishes on its own.
  • Permission. You need the Record Evaluations permission, on a plan that includes Training.
Where to find it. Tap the class under Needs evaluation on the Evaluations page, or find it in Programs (choose Past for an earlier day). The register reads “This class has ended. Write a late report card, or restart it to keep evaluating.” On a phone, the buttons are below the athlete list.
1

Tap Write a late report card

New evaluation opens, named after the program and class day, such as “Tumbling 1 - Sep 20, 2026”. The Date is locked: “A report card for a class carries that class’s day.”
2

Check the athletes

Everyone marked Present or Late is already listed. Tap the X on anyone who already has a report card for this class.
3

Confirm the template

The class’s template, if it has one, is already picked in Template (optional). Templates assigned to the program are listed under For this program, the rest under All templates.
4

Score and mark

Score skills if you like, then give every athlete a mark. With no skills scored, no mark is suggested. To reward someone, tap Add achievement or badge (how to award one).
5

Save

Tap Save evaluation. It stays grayed out until every athlete has a mark (“Choose a mark for [athlete], or remove them.”).
What happens next. The report cards are tied to the class, so it leaves Needs evaluation and they join that class’s card on the Evaluations page. They start unpublished, so the class sits under “waiting to be published” until each one is published, unless the template shows “Families see this report card as soon as you submit.” A present athlete you removed without scoring keeps the class flagging. Restart instead. Restart class reopens the class so you can score from the register with Write report cards (tap Start class first if it never started). It needs one athlete marked present, and the class closes again an hour after the restart or its scheduled end, whichever is later. Not for a class? For a past date with no class, use a custom evaluation. Related: What happens when a class shows Needs evaluation? · How do I start and end a class? · When can a family see an evaluation I record?
