Must know
  • If your gym hasn’t turned time tracking on, there’s no Time Clock at all — no menu entry, no page, and no header clock button.
  • The header clock button also needs permission to track your own time, which coaches have by default.
  • With the feature on but that permission missing, the menu entry and page still appear — only the header button hides, and the page shows an error where the clock controls would be.
Two different things can leave you without a working time clock. Your gym doesn’t have time tracking turned on. Time tracking is an optional feature your club enables. When it’s off, the Time Clock disappears completely: there’s no Time Clock entry in your menu, opening its link sends you back to your home screen, and the header clock button doesn’t appear either. If your club expects you to clock in but there’s no clock anywhere, ask a manager to confirm the feature is switched on for your gym. You can open the page, but the controls show an error. If Time Clock is still in your menu and the page loads — but the header clock button is gone and the page shows an error where the clock controls should be — your role is missing permission to track your own time. Coaches have this permission by default, so it’s rarely the issue; if your account was set up with a different role, ask a manager to review the permissions on your role. Once the feature is on and your role has the permission, the clock reappears on its own. The header button watches the live feature setting, so after a manager enables time tracking it can show up without you signing out and back in. Still stuck? Tell a manager exactly what you see (or don’t see) in the menu, on the Time Clock page, and in the header, and they can sort out whether it’s a feature or a permission that needs turning on.
