Must know
  • Break types are marked Paid or Unpaid — unpaid breaks don’t count toward your paid time.
  • Take Break is disabled if your gym hasn’t set up any active break types.
  • You can be in only one segment at a time, so starting a break pauses your work.
You take a break while you’re clocked in, and end it to pick your work back up.
1

Start the break

On the Time Clock card (or the header clock), select Take Break. A dialog opens.
2

Choose the break type

Pick a Break type. Each option shows a Paid or Unpaid badge so you can see whether the break will count toward your pay. Select Start Break.
3

End the break

Your state changes to On Break and the timer tracks your break. When you’re ready, select End Break — you’re returned to work on the work type you were on before the break.
Starting a break closes your open work segment and opens the break segment, so your working time and break time stay separate on your timesheet. If your gym hasn’t created any active break types, the Take Break button is greyed out — there’s nothing to choose from. You can also select End Shift directly from a break, which closes the break and clocks you out in one step.
