Signing up starts a free trial on paid plans, so you can set everything up and try it out before you commit.
1
Create your organization
Head to the signup page to create your club. The signup wizard walks you through a few short steps:
- Your account — your name, email, and a password (or sign in if you already have an account).
- Your organization — your club’s name, contact email, phone number, and address, plus your country and time zone. Your time zone matters: it’s what Uplifter uses to schedule class times, registration windows, and automated actions correctly.
- Website & branding — choose your club’s subdomain (your public web address, like
your-club.uplifter.app) and your brand colors. - Your plan — pick the plan that fits your club. Paid plans start with a free trial.
2
Configure your organization settings
Once you’re in your dashboard, open the Settings area. This is where your set-once configuration lives, grouped into sections such as Organization, Financial Setup, Website, and more. Start with the essentials:
- Organization overview — confirm your club’s name, contact details, address, and time zone.
- Facilities — add the gyms, spaces, or rooms where your classes take place, if you want to assign programs to specific locations.
3
Set up payments
To collect money from families, connect your club to Uplifter’s payment processing under Financial Setup → Payment Onboarding. You’ll be guided through verifying your business details and bank account so payouts can be deposited automatically. While you’re in Financial Setup, you can also configure taxes and fees, set up discounts, and organize your ledger (GL) codes for accounting — though you can return to these any time.
4
Add your staff
Invite the coaches and administrators who help run your club from the Staff area. Each person you invite gets a role that controls what they can see and do, so front-desk staff, coaches, and admins each get the right level of access.
5
Define your levels
Under Settings → Training, set up the levels your club uses (for example, your recreational and competitive tiers). Levels let you restrict programs and memberships to the right athletes and keep your registrations organized.
6
Create your programs
Programs are the classes and series you sell. Use the program builder to set:
- The schedule — which days and times the class runs, and over what date range.
- Pricing — a flat rate, a per-session price, or recurring billing.
- How families register — for the whole program, session by session, or a mix of full enrollment and single drop-ins.
- Capacity and waitlists, plus optional eligibility rules like age, level, gender, or a required waiver.
- A registration window — when signups open and close.
7
Add memberships (optional)
If your club sells memberships — annual, seasonal, or recurring — create them under Memberships. Start with a draft (all you need is a name), fill in pricing, recurrence, and any eligibility rules, then publish it. Memberships can also be required for certain programs, so only members can enroll.
8
Publish your website
Under Settings → Website, review your subdomain and branding, arrange your pages, and publish. Your public site goes live at your chosen address, where families can browse your programs and sign up. See the Website Builder guide for the full walkthrough.
9
Take your first enrollment
You’re live. Families visiting your website can now browse your program cards, choose a class, register their athletes, and pay at checkout — no phone call required. You can also add an athlete to a program yourself from the dashboard when you need to.As enrollments come in, you’ll see them in your dashboard alongside attendance, invoices, and payments — the full picture of your club in one place.
