# Uplifter 1.4.2 (July 30, 2026)

> What changed in Uplifter 1.4.2, released Thursday, July 30, 2026, plus follow-up release 1.4.4 on Friday, July 31.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * **Released Thursday, July 30, 2026.** This page also covers follow-up release 1.4.4 (Friday, July 31). There was no 1.4.3.
  * **Waivers got more flexible:** signatures or initials per page, seasons, availability windows and a fixed expiry date.
  * **Some changes depend on your plan.** Hero's session refunds need **Ask Hero (AI assistant)**, and season pickers need **Seasons**. **Settings > Organization > Features** shows each as **Enabled** or **Not included**. Ask Uplifter support to add one.
</Note>

## For club staff

**More flexible waivers.** Each page can require a signature, initials or both, and every waiver ends with a **Final Signing Block**. **Seasons** and an **Availability Window** control when a waiver is offered, and signatures can be **Valid until a specific date**. **Require everyone to re-sign** expires current signatures but keeps them in history. Revision history arrived in Uplifter 1.7.0, and age limits and waivers at sign-up in 1.7.1. See [creating a waiver](/club/waivers/create-and-edit-a-waiver) and [expiry and re-signing](/club/waivers/waiver-expiry-revisions-and-re-signing).

**Processing fees by payment method.** Card and bank payments each have their own Uplifter processing rate and optional cap, and **Settings > Financials > Checkout & Taxes** shows your plan's fees. See [who pays processing fees](/club/money-payouts-accounting/who-pays-processing-fees).

**Memberships across several seasons.** A membership can belong to several seasons, chosen in the **Seasons** picker. See [creating a membership](/club/memberships/how-do-i-create-a-membership).

**Edit live discounts.** You can edit a discount in any status without changing its recorded uses. A **Buy X, get Y** discount names what the customer buys and gets, and your club website shows an automatic discount's sale label with the regular price struck through. See [editing a discount](/club/discounts/edit-a-discount-code).

**Ask Hero refunds when cancelling a session.** When you ask Hero to cancel a paid session, it prepares a refund for each family who paid, back to their original payment method or recorded as a cash refund, if you have billing access. You confirm before anything happens. See [what Hero can do](/club/ask-hero/what-hero-can-and-cannot-do).

**Completing a program cancels its remaining sessions.** Scheduled sessions from today onward are cancelled. Earlier ones keep their status. See [editing or archiving a program](/club/programs-classes/edit-or-archive-a-program).

**One-time memberships stay open on their last day.** A camp-week membership can still be bought and added to that day. See [billing cycles](/club/memberships/membership-billing-cycles).

## For families

**Protection against double charges.** You and club staff can no longer both charge the same invoice, and an accidental second charge is reversed automatically. See [paying an invoice that's due](/families/families-payments-billing/pay-an-order-that-is-due-or-overdue).

## Smaller fixes

* The **Filters** button counts the default filters, and **Clear all** clears them too.
* Branded emails show your club name in a colored header.
* The **Cancel enrollment?** dialog works again on a program's **Athletes** tab.
* **Payment Received** emails always fill in the amount, item and reference.
* Staff at one club who are guardians at another land in their admin dashboard.
* The program wizard is wider.
* Coach chat headers fit on phones.
