# What are Uplifter 1.0 things called in the new Uplifter?

> A glossary of familiar Uplifter 1.0 things, from participants and coupons to bill days, with their names in the new Uplifter and what to know about each.

  **Must know**

  * **Participants are now athletes**, parent users are **guardians**, and each Uplifter 1.0 account becomes a **family**.
  * **Coupons become discounts** that start as drafts, and club policies become **waivers**.
  * **Family-level fees become passes** that staff give out, and gift certificates become gift cards named **Imported store credit**.
  * **One billing day for the whole club.** Uplifter 1.0's bill day on each auto-renewing program becomes one **Monthly billing day** for your whole club, picked during the move.

**How to use this page.** Find your Uplifter 1.0 word and read across. Uplifter's team runs the move. Balances, invoice history, gift certificates and surcharges arrive with the final import, not the preview.
