# What do the registration statuses mean?

> A plain-language guide to every status on your Registrations list.

  **Must know**

  * The badges are **Active**, **Upcoming**, **Completed**, **Cancelled**, **Waitlisted**, and **Payment pending**.
  * **Payment pending** means a waitlist spot opened but the charge hasn't cleared yet, so the enrollment isn't final.

Each registration on your **Registrations** list carries a status badge:

* **Active** — the program is under way and your athlete is enrolled for the current dates.
* **Upcoming** — the registration is confirmed but the program (or session) hasn't started yet.
* **Completed** — the program or session has finished.
* **Cancelled** — the registration was cancelled, by you or by the club.
* **Waitlisted** — your athlete is on the waitlist for a full program or session, waiting for a spot to open.
* **Payment pending** — a spot opened and was reserved for your athlete, but the charge hasn't gone through yet. The enrollment isn't final until payment clears, and there's a deadline to resolve it. (In the Status filter, this option is labeled **Waitlist payment pending**.)

If you see **Payment pending**, look for the payment banner in your portal — adding a working card finishes the charge and enrolls your athlete. The badge then reads **Active**, or **Upcoming** if the program hasn't started yet.
