# How do I register my athlete for a program?

> The step-by-step sign-up flow, from picking an athlete to reaching checkout.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * Registration is a guided stepper — steps only appear when the program actually requires them, so a simple program skips most of them.
  * For an age-restricted program you must have the athlete's **birth date** on file before you can complete the purchase.
  * At the end, **Register & Checkout** takes you to payment; **Add to Cart & Continue Browsing** lets you keep shopping first.

  <Step title="Open the program and start">
    On your club's **Programs** page, the **Register** button opens the program's own page — it doesn't begin sign-up by itself. On that page, choose **Enroll in program** (or **Join Waitlist**, if it's full) to start the flow.

  <Step title="Select the athlete">
    Pick the athlete you're registering, or add a new one (name, date of birth, and gender) right in the flow.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose an enrollment option">
    If the program offers both, choose **Enroll in the full program** or **Drop in for a single session**. Drop-in and per-session programs then show a calendar to pick sessions.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete any required steps">
    Depending on the program you may be asked to add a membership or pass, sign waivers, answer custom questions, complete medical info, or upload a file. Steps you don't need are skipped automatically.

  <Step title="Review & Register">
    On the final **Review & Register** step, check the summary and total, then select **Register & Checkout** to pay, or **Add to Cart & Continue Browsing** to register more athletes first.
