# How do I save a card or payment method?

> Add a card, digital wallet, or bank account on your Billing page so it's ready at checkout.

  **Must know**

  * A card is saved through a quick \$0 authorization. Only the brand, last 4 digits, and expiry are stored — your full card number stays with our secure payment processor, never on your account.
  * You can save a card, a digital wallet, or a bank account. Saved methods pre-fill at checkout across the gym sites you use in the same country — a card you save at a U.S. gym won't appear at a Canadian gym, and vice versa.
  * The first method you add is automatically marked **Primary** — the card used by default for new purchases.

Saving a payment method means you don't have to re-enter card details every time you register or buy.

  <Step title="Open your Billing page">
    In the parent portal, open **Billing Details** and find the **Payment Methods** section.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add a method">
    Select **Add Payment Method**. A secure form opens where you can enter a card, choose a digital wallet, or add a bank account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete the short verification">
    For a card or digital wallet, the processor runs a \$0 authorization to confirm it's valid — nothing is charged. A bank account is submitted and verified with your bank instead, which can take a moment to confirm.
  </Step>

  <Step title="See it in your list">
    Once confirmed, the method appears under Payment Methods and is ready to use at checkout — including for automatic (recurring) payments. A bank account may take a moment to appear while it's verified; if it doesn't show up right away, use the refresh control next to the section.
