# How do I save my signature and initials for waivers?

> Save your signature and initials once in Account Settings, then apply them with one click on waivers at any club.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * **Save once, use at any club.** Your saved marks belong to your account, not to one club.
  * **Nothing is signed for you.** On each waiver you still choose **Sign with my saved signature** or **Initial with my saved initials**.
  * **Removing them is safe.** Waivers you've already signed keep the marks you signed them with.
  * **Initials can be up to 4 characters.**
</Note>

**Where to find it.** In the family portal, choose **Settings** to open **Account Settings**, then find the **Signature & Initials** card. On a phone, **Settings** is under **More**. Each guardian saves their own marks.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add your signature">
    Choose **Add Signature** and draw your signature on the pad.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check your initials">
    The **Initials** field starts with the first letters of your name (Jane Guardian becomes JG). Change them if you like: up to 4 characters, shown in capitals.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Choose **Save Changes**. The card shows what you saved and when.
  </Step>
</Steps>

**Change them later.** Choose **Update** on the same card. Leave the signature pad blank to keep your current signature and change only your initials.

**Remove them.** Choose **Remove**, then confirm in **Remove saved signature?**. Both your saved signature and initials are deleted, and waivers stop offering the saved-signature buttons.

**Use them on a waiver.** Beside a signature pad, choose **Sign with my saved signature**. Beside an initials field, choose **Initial with my saved initials**. They're offered on each page that asks for a mark and at the **Final signature** step, wherever you sign: checkout, program, booking and competition registration, membership and store purchases, a registration's **Waivers** card, and the **One more thing** page after you sign in.

**Save new ones while you sign.** A waiver lets you **Type** or **Draw** your signature, while the Settings card offers drawing only. When you enter a new signature or initials on a waiver, a checkbox appears: **Save my signature and initials for future registrations**. It's ticked by default, and the new mark replaces your saved one. Untick it to keep what you saved.
