# Why does Uplifter say 'One more thing' after I sign in?

> Why a one-time stop can appear after you sign in, and how to get past it by accepting the terms or dealing with your club's waivers.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * **Two reasons, alone or together.** **One more thing** appears when Uplifter has no record of you accepting the terms, or when your club asks for waivers at sign-up or sign-in.
  * **Required waivers cannot be skipped.** Sign every **Required** waiver before you continue. Skip an **Optional** one with **Skip this version**.
  * **Families only accept the terms here.** The 18 or older confirmation is for staff accounts.
</Note>

**The terms.** If Uplifter has no record of you accepting its terms, for example on an account created with Google or Microsoft from your club website, it says "Please review and accept our terms to continue."

**Your club's waivers.** The **Your club's waivers** section reads "Review these waivers for your account and athletes before continuing." Each waiver shows its club, **Version N**, and **Required** or **Optional**. A waiver for an athlete also says "For" and the athlete's name.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Deal with each waiver">
    If waivers are listed, choose **Review and sign** on each one, add your signature or initials wherever the waiver asks, including at the end, then choose **Sign waiver**. You return to the list. Or skip an optional one with **Skip this version**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Accept the terms">
    If asked, tick **I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Continue">
    If you ticked the terms box, choose **Agree and Continue**. If you only had waivers, the page changes to **You're all set**: choose **Continue**. You land where you were heading, or in the family portal.
  </Step>
</Steps>

**Button grayed out?** It waits until every listed waiver is signed or skipped and any terms box is ticked. "Please finish reviewing your club waivers before continuing." means a waiver still needs you.

**Why a waiver shows up.** Your club decides whether each waiver is for the account holder or each eligible athlete, for new accounts only or existing accounts at sign-in too, and whether it is required. Athlete waivers list only athletes you can sign for who fit the age limits. A skip covers that version only, so a new version asks again. A waiver added while you are signed in can bring this page up the next time you open a page.

**Afterward.** Waivers signed for your own account are listed under **Your account waivers** on the **Signed waivers** page (**Waivers** in the family portal menu). Wrong account? Choose **Sign out**.
