# How do I sell products on my website?

> How the public storefront lists your active products and takes payment through the site checkout.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * Available on plans that include **Store** — if you don't see it, ask your Uplifter contact.
  * The **Store** page needs three things: the Store feature on, its page toggle on, and at least one **Active** product.
  * Buyers get an emailed receipt after checkout.
  * Stock is deducted when the payment is finalized, not when the cart is created.
</Note>

Once you have products, your public website can sell them with no extra setup — the same catalog you manage in the dashboard powers the storefront.

## What buyers see

Your website's **Store** page lists every **Active** product with its image, price, and stock label (**Only N left!** or **Sold Out**). Shoppers can filter by category and, for **Pickup** items, by fulfillment. For a product with variants, they first pick a size or color, then tap **Add to Cart** and check out.

## Turning it on

<Steps>
  <Step title="Confirm the Store page is enabled">
    In Website Builder's **Page Visibility**, make sure **Store** is toggled on. It stays hidden from visitors until you have at least one active product.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Make sure payments are set up">
    Checkout runs through your payment processor. If payments aren't verified, buyers can't complete a purchase — the same gate that blocks going live.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add and activate products">
    Any product marked **Active** appears automatically. Deactivate one to pull it from the storefront without deleting it.
  </Step>
</Steps>

At checkout, Uplifter prices the cart on the server (it doesn't trust the browser's price), takes payment, deducts stock, and emails the buyer a receipt. The sale then shows in **Store → Orders** as a **Pending** order for you to fulfill.
